Girls only i need personal advice?

im 12 years old i havnt had my period and today i tried on a tampon and it hurt really bad and i spot like yearly is this normal ? do u have any advice?Girls only i need personal advice?
You shouldnt put a tampon in unless you have a period.

You should only use a tampon if you're having a heavy flow.

you shouldnt use a tampon the first few times you have you're period.

and as long as you get you're period by 15 you're fine!

some people start later than others.Girls only i need personal advice?
Tampon's hurt alot of girl's if it's not properly in place or if it went in wrong. try laying down %26amp; get a mirror and try to insert it there's also direction's in the tampon box.

If you spot yearly it could be discharge wich mean's your period will be comeing soon, depend's on how long you have been starting.

i suggest useing a pad for the first couple month's on your period %26amp; then try a tampon. and deffinetly pad's over night you could get a infection if you left the tampon in there for a long period of time.

well i hoped i helped!
First, don't use a tampon unless you have your period because this can lead to a disease called TSS.

Second, you must relax. Putting in a tampon shouldn't hurt when you do it correctly. I usually stand up and take the carbord applicator out. I hold the tampon and just glide it up there. If it hurts, I start over with a new tampon.

Third, remember to take your tampon out every 3-6 hours.
You aren't supposed to insert tampons when you don't have your period for exactly that reasons: it hurts! Tampons need lubrication to put them in and when you have your period, that lubrication is caused by the blood. (Don't get grossed out, you won't even notice it when the time comes - I PROMISE!) Spotting is totally normal. It's great that you want to use tampons because they are the most convenient things in the world. But unless you want to use lube or something (even just rubbing a little water around there would do the trick) it's probably going to hurt to try and put them in when everything's dry.
u probably have a very light or iregular period. go to the doc she might get u on birth control 2 reguate it
Well first of all dont put in a tampon if you arent on your period, because it hurts really really really bad taking it out dry. and yes spotting is completely normal
when i first started i was 10, i was spotting yearly-every 6 months. then every few months. finnaly when i was 12 i got it full on very fast. i just turned 13 and im starting to use tampons. dont put anything in ';there'; till you've had it full on for a bit.
