Im in a wheelchair and want to be a personal trainer, advice?

It depends on the type of trainer you want to be. As a wheelchair user myself I would never discourage anyone from following their dreams but you do need to be realistic.

Is there a market near you for being a personal trainer to other wheelchair users?

It depends what disability you have but would you be happy working in a rehabilitation facility where you could help teach transfer skills and be a more traditional personal trainer, helping people new to disability to increase their stamina and how far they can propel their chair etc?

Realistically, to be a personal trainer you need to convince people who want personal trainers that you can do the job. You don't necessarily need to be able to do everything you're asking them to do but you do need to be able to keep up on a run, and to explain clearly anything that you can't demonstrate. If you can do those things then give it a try and see how it goes.Im in a wheelchair and want to be a personal trainer, advice?
