Why do we get advice from total strangers about personal problems?

we could be doing something about it yet here we sit on our bums answering and asking lyk the other people actually care what anyone has to say(i put this in business and finance hoping for an intellectual ,politically correct answer)Why do we get advice from total strangers about personal problems?
i know this doesnt have anything to do witht he question but TY for the comment about you like my comments on questions i apprectiate it :D

But this one is for the question....Its because of the candy.....you know everyone likes candy from strangers.....After all its the best candy of them all.

and like for instance if a girl asked this question to there mom it wouldnt be right....';should i tell my mom that im pregnant...'; so they got to ask other poeple on their views because they have the best ones out there. Why do we get advice from total strangers about personal problems?
advice from complete strangers is sometimes easier to take.
I think it's because it is easier to ask a monitor instead of a real human for help. The computer doesn't judge, doesn't make funny faces at you. Even the answers that hurt your feelings you can just push aside, hoping for real help. Most people have a fear of speaking publicly.....can you imagine asking your most personal questions publicly? This is a safer way of getting answers to questions that you may be embarrassed to ask otherwise.
It's much easier to talk to someone you don't know. Secrets are more easily shared and you don't have to see that person again to feel stupid or emotional. You won't have that self conscious feeling and perspectives are shared more easily when it's a one sided story, so usually the stranger your talking to will agree with you more than someone not there to defend theirself. This can make you feel better.
