What is your price range ?

There are many, check replacement bulb $$$ before you decide on one. Replacement bulbs can cost as much as a new projector.

A cheap one is not going to do well with small text, Native 800x600 or below.I want to buy a projector for personal use at home, any advice ?
I could suggest something, but it's really a bit more complex than that. You have to define what matters to you before deciding. There is no single best projector for everyone.

Prices range from about $400 to many $thousand. They also fall into two main categories of interest to most consumers: business and home theater models. Business class are mainly intended to be portable and attached to a laptop for use in presentations (e.g. Powerpoint). They tend to be low to moderate resolution, bright, and have mediocre video processing. They are also usually the lower cost projectors you see advertised in Staples, Best Buy or similar stores (but can also be quite expensive for better models).

Home theater projectors are more likely to be higher resolution, less portable, not as bright but have better video processing (including superior color accuracy). They usually cost a bit more at the low end than lower end business models.

Broadly speaking you will fins low resolution models (non-HD) for under $750. 720p models starting about $800 and 1080p models starting at about $2000.

I suggest oy first define your primary use and then your budget and select from models that fall within that range. See the 1st link for a database that allows selection by various criteria (if you don't know what some terms mean (e.g. lens shift) do some reading on the site ... it's all there). Elsewhere on the site (and at the 2nd link) are recommendations and reviews. Before deciding I'd strongly suggest doing some reading since projectors are all different and you probably want one that best meets your needs/preferences.

Hope that helps.
