Personal advice on how to get over a guy?

We dated for six months and then he just turns around and says he doesnt love me (i think because of a problem that hurt his family).





What did or would you do?





Do i ignore him in school or talk to him? Wait for him to come or try talking first? How do i get over him?

People told me over and over that the only way to get over a person is find things that you don't like about them. Now I did that so many times it was hard. Really the only way to get over a person is knowing that you want to let them go. If you don't want to let them go then there is no hope for you. Then when you know for a fact that you want to get over him then that is when you try and find someone that is new and better. Once you find someone else and you begin to like them and they like you back that is when that other person just slips your mind. After all that nothing will hurt no more everything will be fixed.
